During the Tapatifest, the dancers wear their beautiful costumes that they made themselves and show their choreographies with great emotion, energy and joy, as you could see on the previous posts.<\/p>\n
Later, at the same venue in Hanga Vare Vare held other competitions, which can also be seen in the photos: Making traditional hats \"Maroke\", making flower crowns and shell necklaces, carving \"paoa\" and \"rei miro\".<\/p>\n
It is a wonderful festival, alcohol-free, great organization, also from many sustainable points of view, such as waste separation with hundreds of dedicated participants. All connected to their culture, island and traditions like never before!<\/p>\n
