Selon la FDA, un \u00e9v\u00e9nement ind\u00e9sirable grave est l'un des suivants :<\/p>

A)<\/strong>
- d\u00e9c\u00e8s ou situation mettant la vie en danger
- S\u00e9jour \u00e0 l'h\u00f4pital
- Handicap ou invalidit\u00e9 persistants ou significatifs
- Anomalies cong\u00e9nitales ou d\u00e9fauts de naissance
- Infections
- incident grave (y compris \u00e9ruption cutan\u00e9e grave et persistante, br\u00fblures au deuxi\u00e8me ou au troisi\u00e8me degr\u00e9, perte de cheveux importante ou modification persistante ou significative de l'apparence) qui ne se produit pas comme pr\u00e9vu dans les conditions d'utilisation habituelles ; ou
B)
<\/strong>n\u00e9cessite, sur la base d'une \u00e9valuation m\u00e9dicale appropri\u00e9e, une intervention m\u00e9dicale ou chirurgicale afin d'\u00e9viter un r\u00e9sultat d\u00e9crit en (A).\u00a0
