On le retrouve notamment dans la culture des habitants des \u00eeles Fidji, des M\u0101ori d'Aotearoa - Nouvelle-Z\u00e9lande, des Samoans, des Rapanui (habitants des <a href=\"https:\/\/anakena.de\/de_de_formal\/entdecken\/osterinsel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #cdaa58;\">\u00cele de P\u00e2ques<\/span><\/a>), le tahitien, l'hawa\u00efen et le tongien. Dans la langue hawa\u00efenne, un concept similaire est appel\u00e9 \"kapu\".<\/p>\n<p>TAPU d\u00e9signe quelque chose de sacr\u00e9 ou de consacr\u00e9 qui s'accompagne d'une \"restriction mentale\" ou d'une \"interdiction implicite\". Plus simplement, il s'agit de r\u00e8gles et d'interdictions qui ont souvent une signification spirituelle ou culturelle.<\/p>\n<p>Dans la tradition des M\u0101ori et aux Tonga, le tapu (M\u0101ori) ou le tabou (Tonga, \u00cele de P\u00e2ques) d\u00e9crit quelque chose d'inviolable, d'inviolable et de sacr\u00e9. Les lieux ou les choses consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme tapu ne peuvent \u00eatre ni touch\u00e9s ni visit\u00e9s. Dans certains cas, il est m\u00eame interdit de parler du tapu.<\/p>\n<p>Ce concept sert souvent \u00e0 prot\u00e9ger les ressources vitales et l'environnement. Sur l'\u00eele de P\u00e2ques, par exemple, la p\u00eache au poisson et \u00e0 la langouste est r\u00e9glement\u00e9e par des r\u00e8gles tapu, notamment pendant la p\u00e9riode de frai, afin de pr\u00e9server la biodiversit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Le mot allemand \"Tabu\" (en anglais : taboo) tire son origine de ce terme polyn\u00e9sien et de sa signification. Le terme a \u00e9t\u00e9 document\u00e9 pour la premi\u00e8re fois en 1777 par James Cook apr\u00e8s sa visite \u00e0 Tonga et a \u00e9galement fait son entr\u00e9e dans la langue fran\u00e7aise au d\u00e9but du 20e si\u00e8cle.<\/p>\n<p>De nos jours, le TAPU de l'\u00cele de P\u00e2ques n'a pas seulement conserv\u00e9 sa signification traditionnelle, il a aussi acquis une nouvelle pertinence.
