- If your baby likes the new element of water, bathing can be a nice and relaxing ritual in everyday life for parents and child.
- If possible, the time of bathing should be adapted to the baby (morning/evening), as the new sensory stimuli from bathing may make the baby particularly alert or tired.
- The bathroom should have a pleasantly warm temperature and be a place of peace and quiet.
- Monoi oil is solid at temperatures below 24°C. If you put it in a warm place for a few minutes (for example the heater), it will become liquid. Add a small amount of Monoï de Tahiti oil to the bath water and spread it around, it nourishes and protects the baby's sensitive skin. The oil has a pleasant, delicate fragrance which, like the entire 100% product, is of natural origin.
- A bath with warm water at 37°C (body temperature) in a baby bathtub, in the sink or together with you in the bathtub is a stimulating experience for your child.
- The use of a gauze cloth that wraps the baby from underneath and provides support is recommended.
- A (small) person loses the most heat through the head, so only wet and wash the head and hair at the very end.
- The bath should last between 5 and 8 minutes.
- After the bath, carefully pat the baby's skin dry with a soft towel - the residues of the Monoï oil are absorbed into the skin and nourish it - and then wrap the baby up warm.
