30 years designation of origin for the Monoï de Tahiti oil

Anakena Monoï de Tahiti oil is produced in Tahiti, according to the strict rules of the "Appellation d'Origine" that represents a guarantee of the quality of the ingredients, their origin and the manufacturing process.

April 2022 is a month of celebration for the whole of French Polynesia, because in this month the "Association Monoi de Tahiti" celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Monoï oil being the first cosmetic product to be awarded the "Appellation d'Origine" seal.

Obtaining this seal was a great success for all those involved in the production of this wonderful oil, from the cultivation of the tiare flower to the extraction of the coprah oil (from dried coconut meat) and the maceration process to the final packaging.

Monoï oil is a real source of pride for French Polynesia and one of its main economic pillars, along with Tahitian black pearls, vanilla and numerous tourist attractions.
