- If your baby likes the new element of water, bathing can be a nice and relaxing ritual in everyday life for both parents and child.
- If possible, adjust the time of bathing to the baby (morning/evening), it may be that the new stimuli of the senses through bathing makes him particularly lively or even tired.
- The bathroom should have a pleasant warm temperature and be a place of rest.
- At temperatures below 24°C, Monoi oil is solid. If you put it in a warm place for a few minutes (for example, the heater), it becomes liquid. Add a small amount of Monoï de Tahiti oil to the bath water and spread it, it will nourish and protect the baby's delicate skin. The oil has a pleasant delicate fragrance that is of natural origin, like the entire product 100%.
- A bath with warm water at 37°C (body temperature) in a baby bath, in the sink or together with you in the bathtub, is a stimulating experience for your child.
- The use of a gauze cloth that wraps the baby from below and provides support is recommended.
- The (small) person loses the most heat through the head, therefore moisten and wash the head and hair only at the very end.
- The bath should last between 5 and 8 minutes.
- After the bath, gently pat the baby's skin dry with a soft towel - the remains of the monoï oil are absorbed into the skin and nourish it - and then wrap the baby warm.
