In this photo, taken a few days ago on Rapa Nui, you can see our beloved and ever faithful Piaggio Ape 50, an original that came directly from Italy to Easter Island!
This red beauty has been our company car for 17 years, tirelessly accompanying us in the delivery of our orders and delighting the children of the island, who - when they see it on the road - wave and laugh, making its use even more beautiful.
In these 17 years the maintenance of the Piaggio has been a challenge, because only one person on the island knows how to repair it, and Ricardo manages it mainly through his ingenuity, because when we need spare parts, we have to order them from Germany!
In the photo, the Ape "poses" happily in Tahai with the Ahus (ancient platforms) and the Moais in the background and with the only company of some horses, since the island is still closed to tourism at the moment.
