What does "Anakena" mean...?

The name of our cosmetic brand comes from the beautiful beach Anakena on Easter Island, belonging to Chile. Here is the bay Hanga Rau, where, according to legend, the first settlers of the small island in the middle of the South Seas arrived and the history and culture of the Rapa Nuis began. Both the island and the indigenous people and their language are called "Rapa Nui". 
In German, people often mistakenly speak of "Easter Islands", but it is only one. By the way, it is said that Anakena beach is one of the 25 most beautiful beaches in the world. 
We are very proud of the name of our cosmetic brand, which we have registered as a trademark in Chile, Europe and the United States, and we strive every day to wear it with respect and dignity.
