Persea Gratissima Oil
Our avocado oil is extracted from the flesh of the avocado and comes from controlled organic cultivation in Kenya and is BIO and COSMOS certified. This greenish-tinted oil has a characteristic, herbaceous-fruity scent and contains valuable unsaponifiable components such as phytosterols, which support the skin's natural barrier.
The main fatty acid in avocado oil is oleic acid, a monounsaturated omega-9 fatty acid known to increase skin permeability and promote the absorption of other active ingredients. Palmitoleic acid, a rare omega-7 fatty acid, is particularly effective in regenerating skin cells and helps maintain skin elasticity. Linoleic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid, helps to strengthen the skin barrier and prevent moisture loss.
In addition, avocado oil contains phospholipids such as lecithin, which support the formation of liposomes that can transport the active ingredients deeper into the skin. Alpha-tocopherol, a form of vitamin E, provides antioxidant protection against free radicals and helps to reduce inflammation.
