Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter
The mango tree (Mangifera indica) grows in the subtropics of India and other parts of the world. From its seed is made a solid butter, suitable for soaps, cosmetics, toiletries and pharmaceuticals. Mango butter shows excellent moisturizing properties and good "lubricity".
Our mango butter was obtained from the fruit seeds of the mango tree.
Mango butter contains high levels of C18:0 and C18:1 fatty acid.
