The authentic Monoï de Tahiti from ANAKENA is produced in Tahiti using traditional methods: Fresh tiaré blossoms are soaked for at least ten days in a high-quality Coconut oil macerated. Each bottle contains a real Tiaré flower - a symbol of purity, quality and origin. The result is a versatile, natural care oil with a protected Designation of origin ("Appellation d'Origine").

Possible applications
Hair care:
Massage into damp hair as a nourishing mask, from the scalp to the ends. Leave on for at least 15 minutes, ideally overnight, and then rinse thoroughly with our Anakena Shower Gel Skin & Hair Wash out 2-in-1. For shine and protection, apply a few drops to the ends of the hair - do not rinse.
Body & facial care:
Apply to damp skin after showering or bathing and massage in gently. The oil is quickly absorbed, provides intensive care and leaves the skin feeling silky and smooth. Gently massage one drop into the face (avoiding the eye area).
Massage & baby care:
Ideal for relaxing massages for young and old - also wonderfully suitable for baby massage.
Bath additive:
Add a few drops to warm bath water and enjoy a fragrant South Sea experience - for velvety soft, nourished skin.
After-Sun:
Apply to stressed skin after sunbathing. The oil soothes and nourishes, supporting a long-lasting, natural tan.

- Monoï solidifies at temperatures below 24 °C. Simply place the bottle in a warm water bath or near a heat source until the oil is liquid again.

Application
Each bottle contains the full power of nature.
Hair
Apply to dry hair, distribute well (from the scalp to the ends of the hair), towel over, leave to work for as long as possible (preferably overnight), then rinse well, if necessary two washes (until the shampoo foams again when shampooing).

Bath additive

PLEASE NOTE: Compared to more domestic oils - such as olive oil - our monoï oil, which consists mainly of coconut oil, has a slightly higher melting point. Therefore, it is still solid at room temperature and must first be warmed to about 24°C before use. Simply place the bottle in warm water for a few minutes and the oil is ready again for your beauty and massage applications.

Production
Monoï de Tahiti Anakena is a maceration of tiare flowers (Gardenia tahitensis) in refined coconut oil (coprah) and is made exclusively in French Polynesia.
For this purpose, the Tiare flowers are picked before dawn and immersed for 12 days in the Coprah oil with a minimum concentration of 12 flowers per liter, using a special method of enfleurage. This process takes place at room temperature, which means that the oil is not heated in the process. During this process, the flowers release moisturizing and nourishing ingredients and the typical fragrances into the oil.
After this time, the macerate is settled for 24 hours. It is then filtered, purified and a natural antioxidant (tocopherol solution) is added.
