What's behind it...

Anakena - Natural Cosmetics was created in a very exotic, mystery shrouded place: the Easter Island. It is the most isolated inhabited island in the world, located - to put it simply - in the South Pacific between the Chilean mainland and French Polynesia. Rapa Nui - as the small island is called in the indigenous language - is world famous for its large stone colossi, the moais.

In our cosmetics line, we use Polynesian ingredients that convey that typical South Sea feeling. The main active ingredients in our skincare products are organic. Guava extract, Algae extract and wonderful tropical ingredients from Turmeric, Mango, Gardenia Tahitensis, Pineapple, Papaya and Coconut. We use them in an optimal concentration so that the best possible care and effect for the skin is guaranteed.

The unique, characteristic aroma of Anakena cosmetics is Monoï, a floral-fruity fragrance, representing the sensual essence of wonderful Polynesia.
